Monday Weigh-In: Wedge High-Tops (yes, I know it's Wednesday....)

Rachel Zoe has been quoted as saying, "And the one shoe I will never wear is sneakers."*  Ah, to have her life.  Well, not really - I do appreciate a comfortable pair of sneakers; all sweat aside, I also enjoy a good workout (but have a feeling I would hate it in heels.)

But high-top sneakers!?  Wedge, high-top sneakers?!  I found myself saying h-e-double-l no!  Until the fateful day I found myself wandering the shoe aisles at Nordstrom Rack and came upon this pair:

Jacket: Forever21 (similar here)

Knit Tee: JCrew

Jeans: Old Navy

Shoes: MIA (via Nordstrom Rack)

Taking a cue from cutie-pie Hallie of Corals + Cognacs, I (obviously) decided to try these bad boys on.  I was shocked - in a good way.  I kinda liked them and they started to grow on me (it was a two minute relationship really.)  Admittedly, they do nothing awesome (like elongate the leg,) but they are fun......

What do you think?  Yes or h-e-doublehockeysticks no?!  (Don't worry, I won't be offended if you think they are stank-ugly, lol!)
